He was predeceased by: his father Myron Foster; his wife Joyce; his mother Connie Eakin Foster; his brother Paul Foster; his son-in-law Larry Akers; and his nephew Tom Foster.

He is survived by: his daughters, Janet Berch (John), Carolyn Webb (Jim) and Susan Akers; and his sister Darleen Patin (Francis). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 18 Great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
