He is survived by: his parents, Tami McCarver and Michael "Todd" McCarver; his son Cason Cyr; his sister Taylin McCarver; his grandparents, Charles, Linda Crump, Tommy and Linda Shelton; his aunts, Julie Shelton and Kelli McCarver; and his uncle Brian McCarver.

The family ask in lieu of flowers to make donations for his son, Cason Cyr's education.
