He is survived by: his children, Jason Mims (Renee), Amy Allen (Justin) and Cadi Bassett (Thomas); his grandchildren, Matthew Mims, Elliot Allen, Rowan Bassett, Elijah Allen, Norah Bassett, Avery Allen and Jonathan Bassett; and his brother David Mims.
