He is survived by: his father Rey Dempsey (Annie); his wife Rebecca Dempsey (Jenkins); his children, Ashley Claunch (Shay), Lauren Dempsey, Michael Dempsey II, Erin Mahan and Patrick (Tiffany); his granddaughter Abigail Dempsey-Aslinger; his children, Nolan Aslinger, Desi, Scarlett, Violet, Farrah Mahan, Ever Dempsey and Sterling Dempsey; and his sisters, Tonya Dempsey, Terrie Francescon and Jodi Vaughn (Chris). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
