He was predeceased by: his father Cecil Dowdell; and his grandparents, Charles Hale, Rosie Lee Hale, Monroe Dowdell and Ea Dowdell.
He is survived by: his mother Mary Alice Dowdell; and his siblings, Cecil Ray Dowdell, Terry Dowdell, Terence Ale, Jr., Elaine Moore (Charles) of Calera, AL and Latisha Hale of Calera, AL. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
