He is survived by his wife, Lucille Browning of Calera; Children: Rickey (Jean) Evans of Calera, Fay (Terry) Epperson of Jemison, Allen (Teresa) Evans Jemison, Diane (Ron) Alverson of Calera, Ann Brasher of Shelby and Larry House of Calera; daughter in law Marsha Evans of Jemison; 22 Grandchildren; 48 Great-Grandchildren; 14 Great-great-grandchildren; 2 sisters:Iris Shiflett of Columbiana, Brenda Stewart of Childersburg; 1 brother: Harvey (Sandra) Browning of Texas City, Texas
He is preceded in death by his son: Ronnie Evans and son in law: Ricky Brasher. 4 sisters. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at 2:00pm from the Amazing Grace Worship Center in Saginaw, AL with the Rev. Ray Smith and Rev. Kevin Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow in the Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church. Final care and arrangements entrusted to the Ellison Memorial Funeral Home at Shelby Memory Gardens of Calera.
