She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Poe and Nellie Poe; her siblings, Durwood Poe, Betty Smith, Carl Poe and John Poe; and her in-laws, Chester Smith, Viva Poe, George Ison, James Burnett and Linda Poe.
She is survived by: her children, Terry McGiboney (Shereen), Jane Hannah (Robert Robertson), Wayne McGiboney, Robert "Monk" McGiboney (Vickie) and Sheila Gothard (Keith Pate); her siblings, Janie Ison, Ricky Poe (Carolyn), Elaine Burnett, Johnnie Faye Garner (Wayne) and Larry Poe (Bernadette); and her sister-in-law Earlean Poe. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great – grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Charter Funeral Home (2521 US-31, Calera, AL 35040). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
