He is survived by: his wife Evelyn "Cookie" Gottier Weas; his children, David Bunn (Brenda) of Centerburg, Chris Weas (Elizabeth) of Mountain Brook, Alabama and Ashlee Weas Smith (Andy) of Calera, Alabama; his grandchildren, Beth Phillips, Alyssa Weas and Russell Weas; and his siblings, Ron Weas and Susie Campbell.
