He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Julian Morton and Pauline Motley Morton; and his brothers, Tom Morton, James Morton and Wayne Morton.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy A. Morton of Calera; his children, Duane Morton (Jerri) of Clanton, Travis East (Shelly) of Verbena and Rhonda Hale (Mark) of Alabaster; and his sister Shirley Sanders (Ronald) of West Blocton. He is also survived by 14 Grandchildren; 27 Great Grandchildren.
