With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janice Beane Rachels of Calera, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 14, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Janice Beane departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Janice Beane may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Janice Beane leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Buck" Beane and Louise Ellison Beane; her brother-in-law Jack Bailey; and her pet Lizzie. She is survived by: her children, Janatha Womack (David) and Jason Rachels (Niki); her sister Donna Bailey (Freddie Moody); and her pet Maggie. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; a niece and a great nephew.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Sarcoma Foundation of America or the Alzheimer's Association.
