It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Owens of Calera, Alabama, born in Richmond, Indiana, who passed away on May 31, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Owens, Jr. and Martha Frances Rader Duncan. He is survived by: his wife Sherry B. Owens of Calera; his children, Nathan Owens of Louisville, KY, Lindsay Owens of Louisville, KY, James Matthew Owens (Amber) of Clanton and Jacob Owens of Calera; his stepson Brandon Colburn of Leeds; and his sister Cathy Phipps of Harrogate, TN.. He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren; 4 Great Grandchildren.
