He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry and Dollie Jean Wesson. He is survived by: his wife Faye; his children, Jack Jr., Jeff (Beth) and Leslie (Wayne); and his brothers, James and Donald (Debbie). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Charter Funeral Home Chapel (2521 US-31, Calera, AL 35040). A burial was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Alabama National Cemetery (3133 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL 35115).
