He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Gay and Rena Gay; and his wife Eloise Gay. He is survived by: his daughters, Stacy Gay Hinds and Tanya Gay Harwell; his stepdaughter Debbie Quinn (Terry); his grandchildren, Brent Hinds, Megan Kirchner, Camryn Hinds, Grace Harwell and Sandra Harwell; his stepgranddaughter Jennifer Bentley; his great grandchildren, Reid Hinds, Skylar Hinds, Moxley Kirchner, Vayda Boggan and Hinds Kirchner; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Caleb Bentley, Isabell Bentley and Isaac Bentley.
