She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Newell and Febie Newell; her husband George Belcher; and her siblings, Billy Newell, Bobby Newell, Ruby Kelly and Sue McCrackin.
She is survived by: her daughter Michelle Lowery (Jonathan); her grandchildren, Jackson Whitfield, Jon Michael Lowery, Alli Lowery and Emma Sibley; and her siblings, Benny Newell (Mary), Doris Lanier and Betty Ann Gore (Mike). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Community Baptist Church, 8254 Hwy 17 Maylene, AL 35114 or to the Enon Baptist Youth, 4994 Co Rd 18 Montevallo, AL 35115.
