It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Gene Phillips Sr. of Calera, Alabama, who passed away on October 26, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel Phillips and Clara Mae Phillips; and his siblings, Herman Phillips, Gerald Phillips, Houston Phillips and Ann Phillips Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Phillips; his sons, Tony Phillips (Todd), Leon Phillips, Bobby Bice (Vickie) and Don Phillips (April); and his siblings, Roger Phillips (Jodie), Luther Phillips (Cathy), Sarah Bryant, Linda Kimmey (Harvey), Dean Talley (Wayne) and Nancy Endress. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
