With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Derek Michael Candler (Calera, Alabama), born in Hoover, Alabama, who passed away on November 8, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother Lee Candler. He is survived by: his parents, Robert E. Candler (Alice) of Florida and Cathy Candler of Louisiana; and his brothers, Paul Candler (Darlene) of Louisiana and Rob Candler (Tammy) of Tennessee. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
