It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deacon Onnie Smith Sr. (Calera, Alabama), who passed away on June 22, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Alexander and Lizzie Kirkland Smith; and his children, Minister Christine Davis (James), Iris Maddox, Gary Smith, Jonathan Dale Smith, Sr. and Clifton Smith, Sr. (Kimberly). He was also cherished by thirteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
