He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford C. Marchant and V. Havalene Marchant (Kornegay); his wife Frances Marie Marchant (Price); his brother Howard Leslie Marchant; and his son Kenneth George, Sr..

He is survived by: his siblings, Russell Lambuth Marchant (Caroline), Floyd Lester Marchant (Lou), Jacob Timothy Marchant (Linda) and Dovie Annette Duke (Monroe); his grandchildren, Stephanie Nelson (Adam) and Kenneth George, Jr. (Angela) of Tulsa, OK; and his great grandchildren, Diamond, Dixie Holcombe, Mallory Nelson and Kloey East. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
