He was predeceased by: his parents, TJ Wakefield and Betty Wakefield; his granddaughter Megan Pacheco; his nephew Thomas Walton; his brothers-in-law, Fredrick McMaster (Bibi) and Frank Walton; and also Jesse Shirley.

He is survived by: his wife Anne Christine Wakefield; his daughters, Tina Olson (Roger) and Charity Lewis (Andrew); his grandchildren, Zack Pacheco, Austin Gidden, Dylan Olson, Logan Olson and Ellie Olson; his siblings, Clayton Wakefield, Timothy Wakefield (Andrea), Cathy Walton, Rosa McMaster, Paula Barker (Billy), Mia Horton (Paul), Suzette Baker (Russ), Shelia Allen (Pete), Stephanie McNeal (Paul) and Valerie Lemley (Clay); and his sister-in-law Linda Bristow (Larry). He is also survived by his 14 nephews, 14 nieces, 12 great nephews, 19 great nieces, 2 great-great: 1 nephew, 1 niece.
