He is survived by: his wife Marsha Simmons; his children, Wesley (Melissa Simmons), Chad (Lauren Simmons), Ashley Simmons, Kamron Simmons of Daniel, Layne and Garrett (Brandy Carden); and his siblings, Josh Simmons (Tina) and Jamie Simmons. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
