He was predeceased by: his parents, Verdie Lee Coleman, Sr. and Zeola Bryant Johnson (Collie) of Lisman, AL.; his stepfather Collie Johnson; and his siblings, Mildred Coleman Jackson, Charles Dean Coleman and Ronnie Coleman.
He is survived by: his children, Adrienne V. Coleman, Felicia Michelle Reed, Veranda Lekeshia Willard (John), Vernito LekendraColeman and Verdie Lee Coleman III; and his siblings, Eloise Wright of Cleveland, OH, Tina Turner of Huntsville, AL, Rev Virgie McNair (Jake) of Lisman, AL and Victor Jackson (Carol) of Lisman, AL. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
