It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Carlisle Jr. of Butler, Alabama, who passed away on April 29, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Carlisle, Sr. and Edith Carlisle; his stepson Bobby Billington; and his siblings, Robert Carlisle, Alice Carlisle, Frances Henderson and Doris Clark.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, James Billington of Creola, AL and May Sue Shoemaker of Wilmer, AL; his siblings, Johnny Carlisle of Waynesboro, MS, Wayne Carlisle of Clara, MS, Polly G. McKinnie (Billy) of Farmerville, LA, Judy Kay Huffman (Kirt) of Elm Grove, LA and Linda Dorsey (Tony) of Hattiesburg, MS; and his grandchildren, Lonnie Billington, Brandon Billington, Justin Billington, Jason Billington, Jay Shoemaker, Bailee James and Jordan James. He is also survived by five great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
