She was predeceased by: her husband John Frank Bell, Sr.; her grandson Draye Keleman Bell; her parents, Nannie Flora Freeman Heartsill and James Abner John Heartsill; and her siblings, Kathleen Hardin, Imogene Ham, Zollie Renford Heartsill, James A. Heartsill, Jr., Corrine Perdue, Maxine Farnham, Christine Segars, Alice Faye Dantzler, Richard Ray Heartsill, Danice Costes and Clifford Heartsill.
She is survived by: her son John Frank "Jay" Bell, Jr. of Butler County, Alabama.; her grandchildren, Zach Bell (Kelly Lynn), Acadia Bell and Jay Keleman Bell; and her siblings, Laurice Lucene Heartsill Goorley and Henry Jackson Heartsill.
