She was predeceased by: her parent Joab Mosley; her husband Lloyd A. Shoemaker; her son Joe Allison Shoemaker; her parent Narcis Carter Mosley; and her sister Viola Turner.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ellen Henderson (Cary), Helen Wade (Rick), Carolyn Moore, Alice Reid and Easter Reese (Neal). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
