With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patricia Mayfield of Butler, Alabama, who passed away on December 29, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Ollie Irene Clark; her husbands, Dady "Hoot" Gibson, Richard Thomas and William Mayfield; her father Newton Delcimer Clark; and her siblings, Faye Bohannon, Cena Harvison, Pell Brown and Kenneth Clark.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Linton (Bruce) of Mobile and Diane Allen (Lee) of Cromwell; her sister Glenda Flory (Kevin); her stepchildren, Shelia Sims (Duley) of Hattiesburg, Ken Mayfield (Debbie) of Meridian and Patrick Mayfield of Hattiesburg; her grandson John Patrick Higdon (Jackie) of Mobile; and her stepchildren, Elizabeth Mckenzie (Jonathan) of Pennington, Lanna Nations (Jason) of Vance, Andrea Elrod (Russ) of Arab, Patt Ann Basso (Greg) of Westpoint, CT and Laura Combs of Meridian. She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; and a host of nieces and nephews.
