She was predeceased by: her parents, James Odell Jenkins and Ivon Boykin Jenkins; her sons, Jesse Murray and James Murray; and her siblings, Lester Jenkins (Sandy), Stanley Jenkins (Sara), Donnie Jenkins and Juanita Gibson.
She is survived by: her husband Leonard Patrick Murray; her children, Ashley Ramos of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Daniel Murray (Christine) of Chunchula, Alabama and John Murray (Kim) of Richton, Mississippi; her siblings, Foy Jenkins (Diane) and Elaine Turner (Jerry) of Needham, Alabama; her brother-in-law Wiley Gibson; and her grandchildren, Claudia Collins, Andrew Murray, Vanesse Sellers, Christian Murray, Brandon Sellers, Neal Walley and Kyle Walley. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Red Springs Assembly of God Church. A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
