She was predeceased by: her parents, H. G. Faile and Thelma Braswell Faile; her husband James H. Maten; her brothers, Dudley Faile and Devon Faile; and her grandchildren, James Landon Giles and Jamie Leigh Giles.
She is survived by: her children, James Timothy Maten (Pamela), Donna Maten Carney (Clark) and Dana Maten Giles (Mike); her grandchildren, Andrew Carney, Katelyn and Kristyn Maten; and her brother Danny Faile (Betty). She is also survived by her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Witch Creek Baptist Church.
