She was predeceased by: her husband Durwood L. Thompson; and her parents, James David "Buck" Fuhrman and Ethel Mary Weems Fuhrman. She is survived by: her brothers, Robert Frank Fuhrman and James David "Jim" Fuhrman, Jr.; her children, Donna Coshatt (David) and Scott Thompson (Stefanie); her grandchildren, Megan Sasser (Scott), John Coshatt, Jacob Coshatt (Anna Davis), Sawyer Cobb and Brendan Thompson; her great grandchild Caden Sasser; and her sister Brownie Broughton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southside Baptist Church Homebound Ministry.
