He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Murray Reid and Julia Breland Reid; his wife Ruth Fagan Reid; his sons, Wesley Reid and Jerry Keith McKenzie; and his sister Mary Jane Reid.
He is survived by: his children, Kelvin Mac McKenzie of Jackson, MS and Dora Powell of Columbia, MS; his brothers, Gaines Reid and Lavelle Reid of Columbia, MS; and his grandchildren, Jerry McKenzie, Scotty McKenzie, Jonathan McKenzie, Kayla McKenzie Buchanan, Kade McKenzie and McKenna Powell. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
