He is survived by: his children, Rena Brown (Jeff), Diana Mintz (Ken), John Henry Jr., Cindy Pledger (Bud) and Brian Sims (Kim); and his siblings, Evelyn Anderson (Harold), James Sims (Zola Mae), Mary Ann Stants (Robert) and Pat Vess (Pete).
