She was predeceased by: her parents, Bettie Beech Strickland and Honor Leroy Strickland; and her brother William Troy Strickland. She is survived by: her husband Terry Mason Rutledge, Sr. of Butler; her children, Terry Mason Rutledge, Jr. of Butler and Shelby Rutledge Hill (Jim) of Gilbertown; her grandson Steven Dewayne Wilson of Demopolis; and her sister-in-law Margaret Anne Strickland of Dixons Mills. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bumpers Funeral Home (302 Vanity Fair Ave, Butler, AL 36904). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
