He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Elmer and Mary Elsie McIlwain Donald; and his sister Joann Linder. He is survived by: his children, Mike Donald (Jennifer) and Kristy Railey (Kyle); and his grandchildren, Courtney, Cameron, Ramsee, Michael, Alley (Zach), Tess, Kody, John Taylor and Tate.
