It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert Powe (Butler, Alabama), who passed away on July 3, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Jacob Powe and Julia Johnson Powe; his wife Ruthie Lee Hill Powe; his daughter Avoa Powe Wallis; and his siblings, Connie Powe, Samford Powe, JoAnna Powe, Willie B. Powe, Vivian Powe, Dora Lee Cunningham, Cora Lee McDonald, Emma Olevia Johnson, Aaron Philon, Dr. Reginald Powe III, Slater Powe and James Powe.

He is survived by: his children, Alfred Powe of Silas, AL, Linnie Nicholson (James) of Needham, AL and Fannie Sigler (Tommy) of Silas, AL; and his grandson Timothy Ellis of Silas, AL. He is also survived by great grandsons; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
