She was predeceased by: her parents, John Grover and Viola O'Bryant; and her siblings, Roscoe, Cecil, Leland O'Bryant, Allah Mae Adams, Cleona Minor and Mildred McCool.
She is survived by: her children, Sylvia Burroughs, Marilyn Howell (Butch) and Ralph Burroughs; her sister Ruby Brown; and her grandchildren, Jonacha Ward, Joseph Burroughs, Amanda Hutchins-Born, Josh Howell, Lisa Turman, Stephanie Koster and Brittney Marcum. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
