It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Gennette Higdon (Bryant, Alabama), who passed away on December 23, 2018, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Orby Lee Higdon; her parents, Leonard Farr and Lilly Farr; and her sister Mary Ann Eaker. She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Lee Miles Spangler and Karen Ann Hicks; her sons-in-law, Kevin Hicks and Gary Spangler; her siblings, Dorothy Hadad and Leonard Farr; and her grandchildren, Misty Hicks, Sonya Hicks, Reid Miles, Ashley Miles and Nathan Miles.
