She was predeceased by: her parents, Monroe Knight and Olgia Whitley Knight (Arvel C. Smith); her son Stan Smith; and her siblings, Betty Isom, Martha Castle, Johnny, Robert, Leonard and William Knight.
She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly Smith Golden; her grandchildren, April Smith (Kyle) and Blake Golden (Brittany); her great grandchildren, Isabella and Owen Golden; and her sisters, Dora Beach (Jim), Frances Anderson (George), Marie Bowman and Reba Walker. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
