It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mabel Nash Welden of Bryant, Alabama, born in Dutton, Alabama, who passed away on May 17, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Andrew Welden; her parents, Burla Nash and Edna Nash; and her siblings, Manuel, Harmon, James, Billy, Palmer Nash and Vina Bowen.
She is survived by: her sons, David Welden (Doris) and Lynn Welden of Bryant, AL; her siblings, Hilda Kinsey, Nelda Long (Raymond) and Charles Nash (Peggy); her sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Nash and Virginia Nash; and her grandchildren, Tyson Welden, Jerell Peek and Jared Welden. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends.
