With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Frederick Decker of Bryant, Alabama, who passed away on December 21, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Jerry may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jerry touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ed and Aileene Weldon Decker; his brothers, John Ed Decker Jr. and Tommy Decker; and his daughter Tonya Marston.
He is survived by: his sister Deborah Ellis; his son Kasey Decker; and his grandchildren, Cheyenne and Dakota Turner.
