He is survived by: his wife Joyce Cagle; his daughters, Debra Abernathy (Larry) and Brenda Cagle; his grandchildren, Britney Williams (Bryan) and Blake Abernathy (Shana); his great grandchildren, Jace, Layla Abernathy, Isaac Moreland (Katelyn), Nevaeh Williams and Trinity Williams; and his sisters, Helen Higdon (Levernon), Joanne Smith and Wanda Black.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home - Bryant (1474 AL-73, Bryant, AL 35958). A burial was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at the Oak Lawn Memorial Park (1474 AL-73, Bryant, AL 35958).
