He was predeceased by: his children, Tammy Layne and Stacey Eugene Layne; his granddaughter Celina Shea Rogers; his parents, Edd Layne and Beulah Layne; and his siblings, Renice Curtis and Lewis Layne.
He is survived by: his wife Katherine; his children, Tonya Vann, Brenda Rogers (Darren), Teresa Clark (Carl), Treva Haggard (Roger), Fred Huckabee (Lorraine) and Eddie Huckabee (Marsha); his grandchildren, Ashley Harris (Nathan), Casey Vann, Eric Rogers, Aaron Rogers (Whitney), Savannah Clark, Melissa Bryant (Donny), Jeffery Clark, Christopher Haggard (Jacklyn), Whitney McCoy (Nathan), Natalie Kirby (Billy), Makenna Huckabee and Lexi Garner; his great grandchildren, Liam Harris, Vivenne Harris, Krymson Rogers, Austin Rogers, Deacon Hurley, Sloan Bryant, Hudson McCoy, Ashton McCoy, Hadley McCoy, Helena Marlborough (Jake), Easton Hamilton and Callie Hill; and his siblings, Doris Guyear, Ronald Layne, Donald Layne and Harold Layne. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
