He was predeceased by: his parents, George Porter West and Laura Ione Bean West. He is survived by: his wife Jessie Lee Miller West; his children, Mellisa Tipton (Curtis), Laura Gonzalez, George West III (Carrie), Bill West and Dennis West; and his sister Melba Louise Reed. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren.
