She was predeceased by: her parents, Clark Ellison and Maggie Ellison; her husband Virgil Marion; her children, Dana and Sandra Jean Marion; and her siblings, Ted, Royal, Charles, Leon Ellison, Irene Williams, Shirley Willis and Edith Greenwald.
She is survived by: her sons, Warren (Sherry), Ernie, Eddie and Kennedy Marion; her sisters, Imogene Turner, Betty Willis, Francis Walker and Hope McCain; her grandchildren, Katie Brown (Grady), Rebecca Marion, Nova Marion, Adam Marion and Andrew Edwards; her great grandchildren, Rileigh, Teagan, Aila, Iris, Kali, Annie and Hattie; and her great great grandchildren, Norah and Tate. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home - Bryant (1474 AL-73, Bryant, AL 35958). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Union Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery (12434 Union Rd, Knoxville, TN 37934).
