Debora Atchley Diane Cooper Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Debora Diane Atchley Cooper age 58 of Bryant, Al. She died Wednesday, February 22 at Parkridge Medical Center. Family will have a visitation Thursday from 4 to 8 pm and Friday 10 am to 2 pm at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel. A memorial service will be held at the Mudd Creek Boat Ramp on Sunday at 2 pm ct.
Survivors include husband, Robert "Robbie" Cooper, children, Gary Wayne Heart/Blevins (Kristy), Audrey Diane Blevins Walker (Billy), Charlie Dean Blevins II, Natalie Danielle Blevins Lusk (Nathan), Step-Daughter Rebecca Cooper, grandchildren, Josh Williamson, Thomas Blevins, Jessie Walker, Jada Blevins, Emily Grace Blevins, parents, J.C. and Marie Cameron Atchley, brothers, Mike Atchley (Shana), Jim Atchley (Annie), sister, Paula Hughes.
Debora had worked as a reporter for the Chattanooga News-Free Press and is the author of the official poem for the band Alabama that hangs in the Alabama Fan Club Museum in Fort Payne AL.
