He was predeceased by: his grandparents, John Henry and Elmira Busby; his great-grandparent Pearl Hawkins; his cousins, Jonathan McDowell, Chris Rice and Caleb Wright; and his uncle Melvin Tucker.

He is survived by: his parents, Dennis Busby and Pam Busby; his daughters, Makayla and Mallorie Busby; his siblings, Tangie Harvey (Chris) and Jonathan York (Jenn); his grandparents, James and Erthelene Lea; and his nephews, Christian, Carson, Ryker and Zander.
