He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandfather Dr. John David Johnston; his wife Louise Sanders Johnston; his children, Randolph Goulden Johnston, Jr. (Cary) of Dallas, TX and Jodie Strons (Bill) of Cottonwood, AZ; his grandchildren, Olivia Johnston of Destin, FL and Sanders Johnston of Ft. Worth, TX; his parents, Goulden Johnston and Loretta Wilson Johnston; his sister Mary Jo Johnston; and his friend Martha Ray of Brundidge. He was also cherished by cousins and friends.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private family celebration of his life will be held Thursday, February 4, 2021, at Green Hills Funeral Home with Reverend Chad Manion officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his honor to Salem Baptist Church (PO Box 802, Brundidge, AL 36010).
