It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Ray Ellis of Brundidge, Alabama, who passed away on October 4, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Ellis; his parents, Bill Ellis and Rosa Lena Ellis; and his siblings, Ella Mae Dykes and Leander Ellis.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Boykin (William) of Ozark, Shannon Ellis (Anthony) of Ozark and Jonathan Ellis (Jenny) of Dothan; his grandchildren, Kenadie Ellis, Brooke Dunlap, Faith Boykin, Grace McDaniel, Morgan Ellis, Hailee Ellis and Kylie Ellis; his great grandchildren, Lakyn Dunlap, Elijah Wharton, Jud Dunlap and Grayson Wharton; his siblings, Glenn Ellis, Shirlie Ellis (Diane), Sam Ellis (Myra), Ann White (Donald), Frankie Ellis (Mona) and Marie Ellis Grattan (Greg); and his nephew Ben Hobby. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, Cousins.
