He is survived by: his mother Shirley Grimes; his children, Shane Mauldin (Jenny), Micah Martin Mauldin, Stacey Wiley, Courtney Lusk (Kenny) and Kelsey Wilkes; his siblings, Ed Mitchell, Mark Mauldin, Matt Grimes and Misty Barnes; and his pet Gracie Mae. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews.
