Lamar Steed Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lamar Steed of Brundidge, Alabama, who passed away on April 29, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arvis Steed and Kate Steed; and his sister Corinne Cummings. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Bullard Steed of Brundidge; his children, Beverly Steed Helton of Montgomery, Maria Steed Strother (Hank) of Brundidge and Mark Frederick Steed (Misty) of Brundidge; his grandchildren, Erika Strother Moncrief (Dean), Evan Thomas Strother (Isabelle), Elaina Ann Strother, Meredith Paige Gramley, Seth Prestwood and Sarah Emily Fortson (Cody); his great grandchildren, Kate Ann Moncrief and Carter Fortson; and his siblings, Gary Steed (Linda), Patsy Dickert and Janice LeCroy (Wayne). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
