She was predeceased by: her husband Bernard G. Bennett, Jr.; and her siblings, Orville Beal, Waylon Beal and Alvarine Nunley (Beal). She is survived by: her sons, Kevin Bennett and Arlen Bennett (Keith); and her sister Bonnie Morrow (Beal). She is also survived by one grandson; and three great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville (2411 Memorial Pkwy NW, Huntsville, AL 35810). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at the Maple Hill Cemetery (202 Maple Hill St SE, Huntsville, AL 35801).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in her honor to a local animal shelter, the American Diabetes Association, the Dementia Society of America, or the Alzheimer's Association.
