He was predeceased by: his parents, Hollis Sr. and Julia B. Finch; and his grandsons, Anthony Finch and TaQuarius Finch. He is survived by: his children, Hollis Finch, III, Linda F. Finch, Terrell A. Finch, Janae Finch and Fredrick W. Finch; his grandchildren, Rodericus, Brittany, Tiffany and Jessica; his stepmother Gussie Finch; his sister Sabrina Joyce (Larry); and also Betty Finch. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
